Flea beetles are tiny insects that can attack vegetables including eggplant in mass. They chew numerous tiny holes in leaves that can impact plant photosynthesis and yield. This fact sheet reviews the biology of the common species of flea beetles attacking eggplant in Virginia and how to manage them.
