Sharing Knowledge

The Bath 4-H Poultry Chain Project has had a profound impact on the community. This initiative, where youth raise and care for poultry, not only imparts vital life skills but also fosters community bonds. Young participants learn responsibility, teamwork, and animal husbandry. The project instills values of hard work and dedication, ensuring a positive influence on future endeavors. Moreover, it promotes sustainable agriculture and food security as it educates about raising poultry for eggs and meat. Beyond these educational benefits, the project brings families and neighbors together, providing a platform for mutual support and knowledge sharing. The 4-H Poultry Chain Project has strengthened Bath’s community fabric, creating responsible, informed, and connected citizens who contribute positively to society.

Community Voices

“The Bath 4-H school enrichment program inspires students to ask questions about topics that garner their interest. 4-H focuses on the needs of students and teachers. The activities they give enrich the students, teachers, and their communities to make the world a better place for all of us to learn.”

“The 4-H camping program deepens our community bonds. I’ve seen the campfire stories, friendships, and newfound confidence that grow there. It’s a privilege to serve and witness the positive impact we make in shaping resilient, empowered, and community- minded young leaders.”
